"presumably because you didn't tell them?"
If they asked I told them.
OK guys let's back up here, Your not mad because my ex-elder friends talked to me.
Your mad because I talked to two elders wives. Both of whom knew who I was and my currant relationship with the organization and they had no problem talking to to me.
They could get in trouble you say.
OK lets play that out.
Lets just say for giggles that the WTB&T is monitoring this and other ex-Jw web sights.
They look at my post and contact the local body of elders.
The Elders call Sue or Elaine, by the way both these ladies have at least two three generations in the organization.
The phone call would go something like this.
Hello Elaine this is Big Brother
Yes
We got information that you were talking to a known apostate, Keith Casarona. Is this true?
No! Why would I do that?
OK thank you very much.
Oh by the way if he does call again don't talk to him.
OK but I have no idea what you are talking about.
By the way Steve I never asked for your name. And by the way just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they wont get you!

"exposing the people who talked to you."
exposing them to what? What their wicked organization could do to them?
All these people I mentioned are "lifers" they all have been in for 60 to 70 years. Even if Jehovah himself shouted from the heavens to leave the organization they would believe it was Satan doing it and still follow the organization.
They are not going anywhere
PS No vendetta here just a time for the bull shit that has destroyed thousands of peoples lives to end.

"inadvertently getting people in trouble"
I could get these people in trouble.... you mean the all my ex friends and the people who have shunned me. Yes you are right they might get into trouble.
However what can you do to sisters? Take their position of oversight away or not let they give a prayer in the KH anymore.
I'm not under their rules anyone. I'm not afraid of them anymore.
I'm sorry if they are.
My book is going to piss off eight million people. Let the chips fall were they may.
I hope the chips fall hard.

By book New Boy will be dedicated to all the people who have killed themselves because of being a Jehovah's Witness or knowing others who were Jehovah's Witnesses.
In the dedication I going to list all the people I know (and not know) who have killed themselves.
So if you know anyone who was a JW and did kill themselves, I would happy to add their name to this list.
I don't need to know these people. However if there is a story that goes along with their name I'm sure we would be glad to hear it, even if you have relayed this story before.
I'm hoping to create sizable list.
It could be their only time they can speak out from the grave.
Thank you for your help

"Blood Guilty"
by new boy inguilt is such a wonderful tool used by the jehovah’s witnesses.
one of the terms they love to use is the term “blood guilty.” they have actually used this term to guilt their members into doing more and more “house to house activity” yes, they have said on numerous occasions at their kingdom halls and other major gathering that a person “could be blood guilty” for not going out in the field service activity enough.
the reason is simple.

Guilt is such a wonderful tool used by the Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Because you decided to work in your garden and not go door to door on Saturday, Mr. Sinner never got a chance to hear the Jehovah’s Witness's message about the coming destruction of all the bad people. Because Mr. Sinner never heard this message, there is a high probability he doesn’t join that religion. Because he didn’t join the only true religion he is still a sinner. Jehovah has no choice but to kill off Mr. Sinner his wife and two small children at Armageddon.
So the Jehovah's Witness logic is that even though Mr. Sinner gets killed, YOU are now “Blood Guilty” because you never knocked on his door and now Jehovah holds you accountable for his death! So even though Jehovah did all the killing, you are the one that made him do it!
So you are accountable too and now you are now "blood guilty."
On the other hand all the elders that never did anything about reporting the pedophiles in their kingdom halls to the local authorities are not "blood guilty."
This makes perfect sense.
cool aid anyone?

Shunning Part B
by new boy ini was shunned in high school.. did i do something inappropriate?
nope, i was the perfect jehovah’s witness child.
i was guilty by association.

new boy
I was shunned in high school.
Did I do something inappropriate? Nope, I was the perfect Jehovah’s Witness child. I was guilty by association. Who did I have contact with that were considered a bad association? My parents. Yep, good old Mom and Dad. This interesting story will be told in the next chapter.
So back to the many ways you can be shunned.
There are only four ways of leaving the Jehovah’s Witnesses. So there are four ways that could lead to shunning. I say “could” because options three and four has some loopholes.
1. You are “dis-fellowshipped.” You commit some kind of sin in the eyes of the Witnesses. For example, you commit “Immorality” meaning you have sex before you are married or you are married and have sex with someone besides your spouse. There are other sins you could commit, but these are by far the most popular. Once a sin has been committed, you meet with three Elders in the local congregation. If they feel you are not repentant enough for your sins, they will expel you from the congregation. Sometimes, even if you are repentant enough, they will still expel you anyway. They will do this to make an example of you to others. Or because they just don’t like you. It’s a “good old boy country club” and sometimes favoritism comes into play. You could be dis-fellowshipped in one Kingdom Hall and just get a slap on the wrist in another for the same offense.
2. You “disassociate” yourself. You send a letter to the local congregation and resign your membership.
Note: If either #1 or #2 above occurs, you will be definitely be shunned. You can never again have ANY contact with any of your Jehovah’s Witnesses friends or family. You are dead to them.
3. In recent years, a new way to leave the Witnesses has become popular. It’s called “fading.” This is a tricky one. People who don’t want to make a complete break from the Witnesses do this option. Usually because the thought of not ever talking with their parents, spouses, children, siblings and loved ones is more than they can bear. It works just like it sounds. You move away from them slowly. Many times this requires an actual move to a new town or state. You might even tell your family and friends that you are still an active Witness but in reality you have moved on to a new life. Others have called this “A double life.” This phrase has been coined to describe mostly younger ones, teenagers and young adults who have two different lives. These are kids who are trying to keep their parents happy and will pretend to be a good Witness by going to the meetings and out in field service. However on the weekends, they will “party down” and act like “worldly” people. Whether you are a “double lifer” or a “fader” the results can be disastrous if caught. You could end up in the “back room” with the three Elders. This rarely goes well.
4. The fourth and final option is death. Many who couldn’t face options #1, #2, or #3, have chosen this one. Yes, you can break free with suicide. There was a time when I even considered this option myself. I have known at least a half dozen people who felt this was their only option to leave. As I have said earlier, I personally have contributed to at least two people choosing this way out. But, just because you died or killed yourself doesn’t mean you can escape shunning—even dead people can be shunned. Many Witnesses have boycotted their family member’s funerals because they were not in “good standing” in the organization when they died. Sadly for many, there is no forgiveness even after you’re dead. My mother wouldn’t let my father go to his own father’s funeral because it was inside a Catholic church.
So yes you can be shunned as a dead person.
Yet they think of themselves as an organization of love.

Shunning Part A
by new boy inthere is one very important question they should ask you before you get baptized, but for some odd reason they don’t.
that question should be: “are you aware that if you join this religion by getting baptized, if you ever change your mind at any time in the future and decide to leave it, you will be shunned?
this means your friends, parents, children and relatives will have nothing to do with you for the rest of your life.”.

There is one very important question they should ask you before you get baptized, but for some odd reason they don’t. That question should be: “Are you aware that if you join this religion by getting baptized, if you ever change your mind at any time in the future and decide to leave it, you will be shunned? This means your friends, parents, children and relatives will have nothing to do with you for the rest of your life.”
So what is this shunning all about? This is the biggest tool The Watch Tower and Tract Society has to control its members.
The dictionary says shunning is to persistently avoid, ignore, or reject (someone or something) through antipathy or caution. To avoid, evade, steer clear of, keep one’s distance from, have nothing to do with.
Yep, shunning is a pretty powerful tool. How many people out there could handle being shunned by all your family members? Yet, if you ever decide to leave this religion that is what could be in store for you.
Maybe it doesn’t matter if they ask this question because most eight and nine year olds would probably say yes anyway.
Wouldn’t it be funny if they said no? “Mom, Dad, I changed my mind! I’m not getting baptized. Since there is a strong probably I might decide to be a homosexual in twenty years from now, I’ve decided not to get baptized after all. This way we can still be friends and you won’t have to shun me!”
This really isn’t that funny because if thousands of kids could see their lives down the road many years later, they would certainly have never allowed themselves to get baptized in the first place. Sometimes joining the club is the worst thing you can do.
If you are unrepentant and get dis-fellowshipped and thus shunned that’s one thing. If you are dis-fellowshipped but are repentant and want back into their organization, this is a whole different ball game. You must endure a brutal reinstatement process. Since they love you so much, they let you come back to their meetings. You can sit in the back of the Kingdom Hall with your eyes looking down, feeling the shame of your transgression. No, they don’t put a large scarlet letter on your clothes, but they might as well for how they treat you. No one can talk to you. You will get a lot of stares. This will happen for months or sometime even years. You will be treated this way until the Elders decide if you have paid the price for your sins. They must determine if you are truly repentant or just trying to put on an act of looking repentant. The more times you are dis-fellowshipped, the longer they will make you wait to get back in again. Or if they just don’t like you for some reason, you will have to wait longer too. Every group of Elders is different. In one congregation, you could be back in “good standing” and reinstated in just a few months for having sex before marriage; in another congregation, it could take a few years for the same offense. In some congregations, you might not get dis-fellowshipped at all for the same offense. If you are friends with some of the higher ups or children of some of the Elders you might get some special consideration. Yes, you might just get “reproved ” with no dis-fellowshipping at all. In fifty years as a member, I saw this happen dozens of times.
I know it sounds strange, but for some odd reason many unbaptized people are treated better then baptized people in the organization. For example, a Jehovah’s Witnesses family could have two children. Let’s say the children are twins. One child is baptized and one is not. They both end up doing an activity that is not approved of by the Witnesses. If the baptized one is dis-fellowshipped, he will be shunned for sure. However the unbaptized one can’t be dis-fellowshipped because he never made a commitment by being baptized. So he might not get completely shunned. In this case, by making the decision as a child to get baptized, you are at a greater disadvantage then your unbaptized sibling. This brings us to our next question.
So you must be baptized first in order to be shunned by Jehovah’s Witnesses later? Well, not necessarily. You can still be shunned if you are not baptized. You might be “marked.” This is usually done unofficially. The Elders or an Elder or just a group of “Brothers and Sisters” talk among themselves and determine which individuals in Kingdom Hall should be considered “bad associations.” You might not even know that you are marked. Most the time this is done unofficially. Sometimes it is done officially. In this case, the Elder will make an announcement to the whole congregation that certain people are considered to be “bad associations.” So you might know or you might not know that you are on their shit list. One way you will know is that people will start acting very differently around you. Yes, the unofficial shun.
I know all of this is very confusing.
